Ey Metaleros/-as!!! El año 1987, Markus Staiger fundó, en Alemania, el sello discográfico independente Nuclear Blast especialitzado, en sus inicios, en música Hardcore; poco a poco, amplió horitzontes, incorporando bandas de Death y Black Metal y desde el año 2000 también empezó a fichar grupos finlandeses y bandas de Power Metal.

Este año, Nuclear Blast ha celebrado sus 21 años de existencia y el año pasado, con motvo del 20º aniversario, editaron una recopilación de sus mejores artistas.
